Limonest, 05 June 2022 – DimoMaint, the essential publisher of software solutions for maintenance management (CMMS/EAM), is now able to accelerate its international development by offering its customers a secure and forward-looking CMMS Cloud solution on Microsoft Azure.

Within the framework of the very strong growth of its online CMMS solution DimoMaint MX (36,000 users in 110 countries, 1.2 million assets managed, and 5 million work orders processed) and to support its international development, with the recent establishment of its new branch in Mexico, in addition to its historical branches in Kuala Lumpur and Toronto, DimoMaint is announcing its decision to change its hosting company to Microsoft Azure.

Thanks to this migration, DimoMaint is now offering its clients an efficient hosting solution that is completely suited to their challenges and activities, while providing a high level of security worldwide.

In addition to responding to the needs of its current clients, this new technological collaboration supports DimoMaint’s international development ambitions. Relying on the infrastructure of a global cloud computing player like Azure, DimoMaint is extending its hosting possibilities for its DimoMaint MX CMMS solution in the world and offering its clients the possibility to deploy their projects in several countries with support from a solid technological player.

From a technical perspective, Azure helps ensure the performance, scalability, security, and compliance necessary for the deployment of DimoMaint solutions, with the higher level of availability required by business applications.

There are many advantages behind our choice to join the Azure public cloud:

  • A world-class performance and security level and very high availability with 99.99% availability as standard
  • ISO certifications (27001, 27017 and 27018 in particular) as well as GDPR and SOC certifications in accordance with DimoMaint and our clients’ security level requirements.
  • An extendible platform with resources automatically scaled up according to demand and the performance needs of our application. The public cloud model is based on the rental of resources and no longer the rental of machines like our current service provider therefore enabling greater flexibility for our solution.
  • Data protection: our data will be managed by the Microsoft team in France, a French company subject to the European General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR)
  • Global presence: Microsoft has more than 200 data centres across 60+ regions worldwide.
  • Data redundancy: Our Azure data will be replicated in real time across Microsoft’s France Central data centre region using Azure Availability Zones for our customer’s high availability needs.
  • Silent updating will be possible with our application’s new architecture on Azure and will enable us to limit service interruptions at each update.

Visibility on the Microsoft Azure marketplace for DimoMaint MX will enable more open communication with other solutions in the Microsoft ecosystem,”

emphasises Jean-Paul Genoux, Managing Director, DimoMaint.

“At Microsoft, our ambition is to give companies the means to achieve their digital transformation and innovate thanks to relationships that enable them to take advantage of the cloud’s full potential,

says Xavier Perret, Director Azure, Microsoft France.

“Our collaboration with DIMO will support maintenance departments with agility and security, thanks to the power of Microsoft Azure.”
